First of all I would like to thank you for the great information you supply through the website and podcast.
Right now, I have a situation. My wife (On husband Sponsor) lost her job on due to company's employee redundancy. They have not yet cancelled the labor card and didn't process the End of Service dues. Could you please let me know what is the time limit to cancel the labor card and release the gratuity amount once the employee is terminated?
It is more than a month now and the company has not processed the cancellation. Is there any article I can refer and send it to her company HR so that they will release the amount?
