I would like to seek a help regarding on what's the best answer to an employer If they ask you about why did you leave your previous job?
What happened to me was I am terminated with a cause. I'm working in a Food and Beverage Industry were tips are centralized or personalized just so happen that the company I'm working with before has a centralized tipping system. A guest who I'd given a great and wonderful service insisted me to take the tip as it was my reward though I told them that it will go for all. I don't want them to be upset that time so I grabbed the money in my hand. Apparently, one colleague saw it and he informed my manager. And when they did the spot check they saw the money in my hands. So immediately they terminated me. I know it was my mistake because I hold the money in my hands in order not to upset my guest by breaking the company rule. In this case, what would be the best answer if my next employer ask me why did a leave my previous job?
It already happened and what I can do now is to move forward and charge it to experience.
Hoping to your honest answer. Thank you!
