I am on software Engineer visa in Tecom company for past 1.5 years, and it was 3 years visa. Due to cost-cutting my employer asked me to leave the company and gave 55 days notice period. Today my HR told me that they will pay for gratutity but they will not pay for my unused balance vacation hours. I have 12 days vacation balance and she asking me to take 12 days off? Is that fair?
In Labour law is there any place which stating employer should pay for usused vacation days, if they are terminating?
one more question they mentioned in the final settlement notice reason as Redudancy what is that exacly meaning in termination letter? will that affect me in future?
