I am in a similar situation: Unlimited period contract, notice period 1 month & termination as Jobs are tapering / project near completion.
I have a separate contract signed on Company Letterhead - where the notice period mentioned is 3 months on either side. 3 months notice or 3 months salary in lieu of notice. Hence, when asked to resign I refused. Also, all visa/travel related expenses would be on employee if he resigns.
Q1: How can the Co. have discrepancy in the Notice Period?
Q2: The reason for termination is not true and valid.as the Project will not be completed till Q4-2018.
I have not completed 1 year (joined on 29/May, MoL reg. offer 21/June & Entry Permit 10/Sept (entered), MoL UL period contract dated 6/Oct (Valid till 5/Oct/2018).
