I was with a company for 3 months under probationary period with unlimited contract. We had a dispute with MOL becaue they filed a complaint, (runaway). But until now there is there is no clear resolution with regards to my case. For further, here are the details:
1.) I was absent for health issues from aug 16--19, 2015.. aug 20 i resumed to my work and applied for the sick leave which the management approved only 18-19 though I presented my medical certificates and tests and a letter from my doctor that i am undergoing medical treatment.
2.) I worked again until 'Aug 31, 2015. Sep 1-3, and sep 6 i wasnt able again to come to work because of my condition. by sept 7 i sent my resignation letter thru email after few hours my supervisor gave me a call and acknowledged my notice.
They told me its already for signature of the CEO, so just wait and come ffor the turnovers of my docs. so I said yes. The following day, I received a call from mol informing me that i have absconding case and that i should go there for the complaint to be removed. immediately i called my company and asked what happened, then manager just told me wait and the PRO will contact me that day which didnt happen. Next day I went to mol for the cancellation of my arrest and there they set and appointment with the legal.
3.) Sept 28, both parties where asked about facts. To my shock, my company erased all my attendance and reports and they showed it to the legalI wasnt reporting since aug 16, 2015 . I sought for people who can prove i was there until aug 31 and that all my absences was duly informed to ALL managers of diff dept in our company (as the policy). But the legal didnt accept. Last was my bank slip that i had my salary withdrawed from the ATM in front of our company building but still the legal ddnt take it as evidence. last chance she gave me was if there are co workers in the company that can prove my attendance, i gave my supervisor, deputy supervisor, manager, the legal was not able to speak with any of them as the secretary was saying they are not on their seat. legal told me she will give me 1 yr ban. I said no i was there and thats the truth.
4) oct 6 was the 2nd meeting. the legal jsut spoke with the company after they left they called me and said i can go home for there is no decision yet they will call me 2-3 days.
5) After 2 weeks of no contact from either side, i called mol hotline for advise and they told me to go again at mol office. so i went and waited for the appointed legal. but she dont want to speak with me as she ddnt set any meeting with me. i said i just wanted to know whats happening with my case they poin ted me outside and told me go there and ask. so i went to diff desks asking for where i can get info. finally i saw the other legal who told me they will call me after 2-3 days. He told mol's duty was finished and that all i can do is talk to my boss and make them cancel me.
6) i sent emails and mail by po box to my company but still no response.
Dear deepak, what can i do regarding this? can i go outside uae without being apprehended by the airport? I dont want to file a complaint against the company, i know it will take again more time and money.
