I have an unlimited contract with my company, have been working for less than a year. On my offer letter is mentioned that if I leave after the probation period(6 months) and before one year, I have to pay compensation of 1 salary. On my contract it mentions only that I have to give 30 days of notice, nothing about paying 1 salary penalty if I leave before one year. Can I avoid paying this penalty if I leave earlier, or do I have to wait to complete one year? What about a labour ban, I am working as an Engineer so I think ban cannot be applied, correct?
