Good day Mr. Deepak,
Thank you for your Kindness and resolute. I resigned from the company I work for after one year, I signed a resignation letter which stated that my entitlements will be paid after my visa cancellation. I was called by the HR who directed me to the company head office to go there to conclude my documents signings so that my visa cancellation could be effected. I went to the head office and was given a document which I found out that in it, a statement, "I duly received all my dues". I refused to sign it initially, I told the attendant that I am yet to receive all my entitlements and it won't be advisable for me to sign the document. He replied that my entitlements will be paid after the cancellation of my visa according to the company rules. I then signed the document with that assurance.
Already, the company knew that I should report to my new job in my home country on the 25th November, 2015 but until now, they have not done anything as to enable me travel back to my home country for the new job. I called the HR on the 23rd November and she told me they are waiting for the general manager to approve my final pay and 26th November, this morning, I called her again, she still said the same thing. She said I should wait or unless I will travel without the payment. I replied that what they are doing to me is improper. They are still in possession of my passport, and I am expecting them to be honorable to their words and promises. What should be your advise and what I should I do on this condition? Thank you.
