I'm new to Dubai, an artist by education and joined a companyu in Dubai which deals with design work. I have finished my entire visa process etc and received my emirates ID even.
Now my wife has cleared an interview in Sharjah as a teacher and she hopes to come to the UAE soon and work.
But the school is mandating that the visa for her employment will not be given from the school and since her husband is working in the UAE, that he has to sponsor her visa.
1) Is that legal? Is there anything I can do to avoid this? As I know the procedure to obtain a family visa is a labourious process.
This is of great worry for me, as right now I'm earning a salary of 6000AED salary. : Basic 3000 - HRA 2000 Conveince : 1000. and on further checking, my visa is only titled as ' Archive Clerk'.
2)Will there be any problem in bringing her and my son to UAE on my 'Archive clerk' employment visa? And with this salary breakup as mentioned?
I hear that I have to get a rental contract in my name as part of the procedure, Right now I'm in a sharing accomodation.
