We are a LLC company and as per law have local PRO in place. There is no role as such performed by the local PRO but we pay his remuneration. We do have other PRO's who take care of the role.
Off late, the no of employees have decreased and now we don't need to comply on Local PRO norm.
Kindly suggest whether gratuity is to be paid to this local PRO when we are making his position redundant. We used to pay a lump sum remuneration to him without any specific breakup.
If, gratuity is to be paid is it as we calculate for other employees?
