If an employee , due to his personal issue does not want to take the annual leave. Instead he wants to en-cash the leave and stay on for the job. Is the encashment to be made on his basic salary or on his gross salary???
There is no rule on this i believe.It is up to your company policy to decide.However, leave encashment is done on gross salary.

this is so not good, in my company they are paying leave encashment, leave dues at fnf settlement and overtime on basic salary only.
You should request your HR to read and respect the UAE Labour Law.
