Hi! I had commenced work for my employer on 29th Oct 2016 (specified in my contract). As per my contract I have to serve a 6 month probation period within which time my employer can terminate my contract without notice. My labor contract was drafted on 21st November 2016 but the contract specifies that the contract commences from the date I enter the State in case I have been hired from abroad, which I have.
The company on 8th May 2017 decided not to confirm my employment and terminated me without notice saying that I was on probation. They informed me that they were terminating me on the basis of misconduct without specifying any instances for the same. They also told me that they were allowing me to voluntarily resign on 'humanitarian grounds' since I would not get another job in UAE if I was officially terminated on the basis of misconduct.
There are several problems I have now:
1) Termination based on false allegations
2) Termination without notice outside the probation period
3) I have not received any salary for the month of April or 8 days of May
4) I have already submitted my resignation in panic and my passport for cancellation
Please let me know of what rights I may have and what would be the best approach for me. I am very stressed out by the whole situation and need help. Thanks.
