Dismissed. Expecting air tickets and cost of moving belongings to be carried by the employer, as I wish to return to my home country.
The responsibility is listed in Article 131.
My reading of the law says to "point of origin", which I take to be my home country, without regard for being discovered and hired after I was already here.
The employer reads the law to say "point of hire", meaning if hired locally, he's not responsible for any expenses.
The realistic situation is that "everyone" is from somewhere else... I know if I had quit or been dismissed for cause, I would be completely responsible for the expenses. But this is a dismissal unrelated to the job...arbitrary. Do I qualify for receiving the cost of repatriation as part of the End of Service calculation, OR have I just misunderstood this point?
