We would like to ask clarification on Leave Credits Value in Cash. Below is an example:
Start Date: April 1, 2015
30 Days Leave earned as of April 1, 2016
During the first year the staff received an Increment from 3,000 to 3,500 effective September 2015.
He took Annual Leave on April 2 - 30, 2016.
Question: How much would be his Salary for April 2016?
- Will it be calculated by 2.5 each month from 3,000 (april-aug) + 2.5 each month from 3,500 (sept-mar)?
- Or increment has no effect on Salary during Leave? that he will still receive the current Salary amount which is 3,500?
NOTE: In this scenario, company is not giving the Leave Salary in advance/before staff went on leave. Instead, they are giving it a regular pay period regardless you're on leave or No.
